Description

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of laboratory staff, including Medical Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Assistants.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
Oversee laboratory operations, including sample processing, analysis, and result reporting, to ensure timely and accurate test results.
Monitor workflow and resource allocation to optimize laboratory efficiency and meet turnaround time targets.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory tests.
Perform and review quality control procedures, instrument maintenance, and proficiency testing to maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of service records.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment purchases, repairs, and upgrades as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of laboratory procedures, test results, quality control data, and other records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review reports, summaries, and documentation for internal and external audits and inspections.
