Description

Operate and maintain X-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety during the examination.
Position patients appropriately for X-ray images, ensuring proper alignment and exposure to achieve accurate results.
Ensure that all radiographic equipment is functioning properly, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
Follow established protocols for radiation safety, ensuring proper shielding, and minimizing exposure to both patients and staff.
Maintain accurate patient records, including details of the procedure, images taken, and any relevant patient information.
Work with radiologists and physicians to assess imaging results and assist in determining the next steps in patient care.
Sterilize and disinfect equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology, safety protocols, and imaging techniques.
Adhere to hospital policies, medical ethics, and regulatory guidelines related to patient care and radiation use.
