Description

  1. Diagnose and manage patients with benign and malignant tumors requiring surgical intervention.
  2. Plan and perform complex oncologic surgeries, including resections, reconstructions, and minimally invasive procedures.
  3. Conduct preoperative assessments, staging, and multidisciplinary treatment planning with oncology teams.
  4. Provide postoperative care, monitor for complications, and manage recovery of surgical oncology patients.
  5. Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists for comprehensive cancer care.
  6. Counsel patients and families on surgical options, risks, and postoperative care.
  7. Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and allied healthcare staff in the surgical oncology department.
  8. Maintain accurate operative records, documentation, and follow-up data.
