Job Description

1. Evaluate and diagnose patients with solid organ cancers.
2. Plan and perform curative, palliative and reconstructive cancer surgeries.
3. Conduct pre-operative assessment, tumor staging and surgical planning.
4. Provide post-operative care including wound management, pain control and complication management.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings to decide treatment strategies.
6. Coordinate with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists.
7. Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks and prognosis.
8. Perform minimally invasive, laparoscopic or robotic oncologic surgeries when indicated.
9. Monitor patients during follow-up for recurrence and long-term outcomes.
10. Maintain accurate medical records and operative notes.
11. Ensure adherence to hospital safety, infection control and quality standards.
12. Participate in clinical research, audits and continuing medical education.
13. Train and supervise residents, fellows and junior consultants.
