Description

Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, item descriptions, and location details, using inventory management software or manual tracking systems.
Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand, and place orders for replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability and minimize stock outs or excess inventory.
Organize and optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and shelving units to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
Implement proper storage practices, including labeling, segregation, and rotation of inventory, to ensure product quality, traceability, and compliance with safety standards.
Coordinate the receipt of incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality of goods received, and process documentation (e.g., delivery notes, packing slips) accurately and timely.
Prepare orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labeling items, and arrange for timely delivery or shipment to customers, suppliers, or internal departments.
Supervise and train store staff in inventory management procedures, warehouse operations, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel, monitor performance, and provide feedback and coaching to enhance productivity and performance.
