Description

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, item descriptions, and location details, using inventory management software or manual tracking systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand, and place orders for replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability and minimize stock outs or excess inventory.
  • Organize and optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and shelving units to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
  • Implement proper storage practices, including labeling, segregation, and rotation of inventory, to ensure product quality, traceability, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate the receipt of incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality of goods received, and process documentation (e.g., delivery notes, packing slips) accurately and timely.
  • Prepare orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labeling items, and arrange for timely delivery or shipment to customers, suppliers, or internal departments.
  • Supervise and train store staff in inventory management procedures, warehouse operations, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel, monitor performance, and provide feedback and coaching to enhance productivity and performance.
