Description
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Perform regular checks on stock levels, ensuring materials are available and reordering stock as needed to avoid shortages.
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and stored.
- Organize materials in the store according to product type and storage requirements to ensure easy access and safety.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of hazardous or sensitive materials in compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move materials within the store.
- Maintain accurate stock records, update inventory databases, and generate reports on stock movements and usage.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution to other departments, ensuring that items are accurately picked and packed.
- Ensure that the store area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support in stock audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
