Description

Manage day-to-day operations of the optical store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
Oversee inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, conducting regular inventory counts, and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages.
Drive sales by providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with frame selection, lens options, and other optical products, and promoting add-on sales and accessories.
Maintain knowledge of current eyewear trends, lens technologies, and industry developments to effectively assist customers and recommend products that meet their needs.
Train, coach, and supervise optical staff, including opticians, sales associates, and technicians, to ensure they deliver exceptional service and meet sales targets.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback and support to staff, and address any performance or disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the optical lab to ensure timely and accurate processing of eyeglass orders, repairs, and adjustments, and resolve any customer issues or concerns related to eyewear quality or fit.
Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive store traffic, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness in the local community.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including HIPAA regulations, optical licensing requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
