Staff Nurse - ICU

Walking Interview:

• No interviews on Public Holiday or Sunday
• Timings for face to face interviews from 10am to 2pm.
• Nursing Valid registration is preferred

Patient Care:

• Medication
• Patient Feeding
• Vitals checking and recording
• Accompany Doctors in patient rounds and carry out doctors instructions
• Order for Lab & Radiology Investigations, medicine, diet and other orders
• Patient Hygiene and position changing
• Maintaining Bowel and bladder pattern
• Check working of all dialysis machines and other equipment.
• Check daily schedule of the patients and set up the machines and dialysis apparatus accordingly.
• Receive the patients and take consent for dialysis.
• Monitoring of vital signs during dialysis every 15 minutes.
• Watch for any complication during dialysis and take appropriate action.
• After closing check proper Hemostasis at all puncture sites.
• Check vitals and weight after dialysis.
• Proper labelling of the dialyzer sets, disinfection and storage for next dialysis.

Discharge Initiation

• Accompanying patient during shifting (between Wards to ICU/OT/Investigations).
• Preparing patient for surgery and shifting to OT.
• Receiving and giving post OP care.
• Assisting Doctor in bed side procedures/dressing.
• Nursing Documentation.
• Hand over/take over.
• Introduction to patient and attendant.
• Hourly rounds.
• Sample Collection and report follow up.
• Administrative- Monitoring Departmental Inventory/Equipment Check.
