Staff Nurse

Job Description:

Patient Care and Monitoring:

• Provide direct care to patients undergoing IVF treatments.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including hormonal treatments for IVF cycles.
• Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, during procedures and treatments.
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as follicular scans.
• Assist in egg retrieval and embryo transfer processes.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients undergoing IVF treatments.

Assisting in IVF Procedures:

• Prepare patients for IVF-related procedures (egg retrieval, embryo transfer).
• Assist physicians and embryologists during IVF procedures.
• Handle and store IVF samples according to clinical protocols.
• Ensure that sterile techniques are followed during all procedures.

Patient Education and Guidance:

• Educate patients on the IVF process, medication regimens, and any post-procedure care.
• Answer patient queries about IVF cycles and assist with preparing for each step.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including IVF treatment details, medication schedules, and any adverse reactions or complications.
• Document all nursing interventions and patient interactions.

Collaborate with the Fertility Team:

• Work closely with doctors, embryologists, and other medical staff in coordinating patient care.
• Assist with the management of clinical inventory, such as IVF medications and medical supplies.
