Staff Nurse

Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team. 
• The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and practices. 
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
• Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions to stabilize patients.
• Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections within the healthcare setting.
• Work collaboratively with other nursing staff members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and improving healthcare processes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in nursing practice and maintain licensure.

Qualifications:

• GNM / Diploma in GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
• Gynec/IVF/Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care.
