Description
- Quickly and accurately assess patient care needs.
- Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to provide exceptional care.
- Perform all requested diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plan collaboratively with doctors and staff.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually.
- Comply with all legal and safety requirements at all times.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment.
- Work at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care.
- Monitor coworkers and voice concerns to minimize errors.
- Provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date patient chart which meets the standards.
- Perform in emergencies according the procedures developed by firm.
- Evaluate and monitor the ICU patient’s progress.
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
- Begin treatment and monitor doses.
- Assist the consultant in taking rounds and carry out the orders.
- Identify early warning signs and inform the doctor and obtain necessary instructions and carry out as soon as possible.
- Look after the patient nutritional needs and seek advice from the dietitian.
- Do proper documentation regarding patient care.
- If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit.
- Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
- Maintain patient records.
- Create and implement effective care plans.
- Make sure the equipment's are in proper working condition and utility items are available all the times.
