Description
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established nursing care plans and protocols. Assess patient condition, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient condition, and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team. Perform routine assessments, including physical examinations, wound care, and patient education.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage, proper route, and patient safety. Monitor patient response to medications and report any adverse reactions or side effects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, medication administration records, and progress notes. Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and changes in condition according to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, treatment options, medication regimen, and self-care techniques. Promote health education and preventive care measures to empower patients to manage their health effectively.
