Description

  • Provide direct patient care according to established nursing care plans and protocols, ensuring the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations, to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and reporting any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, patient education, and coordination of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease management, treatment options, medication administration, and self-care techniques to promote patient empowerment and facilitate transition to home care.
