Description

Provide direct patient care according to established nursing care plans and protocols, ensuring the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of patients.
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations, to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and reporting any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, patient education, and coordination of care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
Provide patient and family education on disease management, treatment options, medication administration, and self-care techniques to promote patient empowerment and facilitate transition to home care.
