Staff Nurse

• Job Summary: As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and competent nursing care to patients. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, communication skills, and empathy.
• Staff Nurses with both B.Sc Nursing and GNM qualifications will contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care within healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
• Respond efficiently to emergencies, providing immediate nursing interventions.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist in the orientation and mentoring of junior nursing staff.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications: B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification.

• Valid nursing license and registration. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current healthcare practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Compassion and empathy in patient care.
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Working Conditions: This role involves working in shifts, including nights and weekends. It requires flexibility and adaptability to varying patient needs.
