Description
- Maintains the highest possible standard of patient care at all times.
- Fosters good patient-nurse relationship.
- Admits, transfer and discharges the patient.
- Accompanies attending doctors on rounds and Implements treatment required.
- Checking the vitals of the patients on regular intervals who are admitted or transferred.
- Ensures to keep patient’s bed ready before patient reaches to respective location.
- Administering the medicines as prescribed by the doctors.
- Filling up the Nurses notes and all related documents.
- Maintain clean and safe environment for the patients.
- Pre and postoperative care.
- Accompanies patients while transferring to other department or transporting for any purpose (Internal/External).
- Explaining the patients about their discharge medications.
- Giving psychological support to the patient.
- To take care of the nutritional needs of the patient.
- To prepare and keep a record of sub store, crash cart, high risk medication and related documents.
- Indenting and checking of drugs, supplies and maintaining inventories.
- To assist or orient the newly joined staff.
- To attend or conduct training time to time.
- To comply with all in house and statutory Health & Safety procedures.
- To be oriented about the safety codes of hospital.
- Any work assigned by management from time to time.
