JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF STAFF NURSE

• Admission & discharge procedure.
• To provide personal nursing care whenever necessary.
• Vital signs checking and intake output maintaining according to the instruction.
• Administration of medicine and injections.
• Infusion of IV fluid and recording.
• To take care of technical procedure like. O2 administration, catheterization, dressing, enema, suppository inserter, preparation for surgeries.
• Collecting specimens, labelling properly and sent to lab.
• Pre and post op care.
• To carry out the consultant's order and endorse to next shift.
• Taking care of surgical appliances and linen.
• To keep the ward neat and tidy.
• To follow the rules of biomedical waste management and infection control.
• Orientation of new staff nurses.
• Participation in CNE programmer and professional activity.
• Reporting to the ward in charge about each patient of the patient.
• Report note and incidence report note is to be maintained.
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
