Job Description

1. Provide clinical care in OPD, IPD, and emergency ophthalmology services.
2. Assist in and perform ophthalmic surgeries under supervision.
3. Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations.
4. Manage routine & complex ophthalmic cases (medical & surgical).
5. Supervise junior residents, interns, and support staff.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
7. Participate in academic sessions, clinical meetings, and CME programs.
8. Support research activities and audits in ophthalmology department.
9. Counsel patients on eye care, treatment options, and preventive measures.
10. Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, NABH, and ethical standards.
