Job Description

1. Assist in diagnosis and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases.
2. Provide OPD, IPD, and emergency nephrology care.
3. Manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
4. Monitor and manage electrolyte and acid–base disorders.
5. Participate in care of ICU and critically ill renal patients.
6. Perform pre- and post-dialysis patient assessment and monitoring.
7. Assist in vascular access care (AV fistula, dialysis catheters).
8. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case records.
9. Counsel patients and families regarding disease and treatment.
10. Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and technicians.
11. Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines.
12. Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and teaching (if in medical college).
13. Assist in research, audits, and departmental work.
