Job Description

1. Provide comprehensive care to ENT inpatients and outpatients, including diagnosis and management of ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders.
2. Assist in and perform ENT surgical procedures under the supervision of consultants, including tonsillectomies, mastoid surgeries, and endoscopic procedures.
3. Conduct daily rounds, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate medical and surgical records.
4. Manage emergency ENT cases, including airway obstruction, trauma, and acute infections.
5. Prescribe medications, order investigations, and implement treatment plans as per hospital protocols.
6. Participate in minor procedures such as endoscopies, ear toileting, and tracheostomy care.
7. Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in ENT wards and operation theatres.
