Description

Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients with complex medical conditions, ensuring comprehensive care.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and manage critical care equipment.
Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and interns, providing guidance and support in clinical practices and procedures.
Conduct training sessions and educational activities for the critical care team, focusing on best practices and updated protocols.
Perform or assist with advanced critical care procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, and advanced cardiovascular support, under the supervision of senior consultants.
Ensure the safe and effective use of medical technology and equipment in the ICU.
Coordinate with other departments, including nursing, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy, to ensure integrated patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding treatment plans, progress, and prognosis, providing support and information.
