Description

Inventory Management: Oversee and manage the accurate tracking of inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet operational requirements without overstocking.
Stock Control: Monitor stock movements, including receiving, issuing, and dispatching goods, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for accountability and audit purposes.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of goods, managing purchase orders, negotiating prices, and ensuring adherence to delivery schedules.
Warehouse Organization: Ensure that the store/warehouse is well-organized, with efficient layout and storage practices that allow easy access to stock and safe handling of materials.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications, reporting any discrepancies or defects to suppliers and taking corrective action as needed.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the store team, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures for efficient store operations.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all storage activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
