Description

Production Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules to meet demand, ensuring optimal use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality while meeting safety standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards by working closely with the quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) teams, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Inventory Management: Manage raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste or shortages.
Team Supervision: Lead and supervise production staff, including training, performance monitoring, and task delegation to ensure productivity and adherence to production targets.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations, implementing best practices for occupational health and safety, and ensuring equipment and workplace safety standards are met.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage, preparing regular reports for senior management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless production operations and address any issues that may impact production timelines.
