Description

Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions, based on the individual needs of each patient and the nursing process.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and education to enhance clinical competence, promote professional growth, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care, optimize outcomes, and ensure continuity of care across the healthcare continuum.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff and management, advocating for staff needs, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication to promote a positive work environment and enhance team collaboration.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice projects, and interdisciplinary committees to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and achieve organizational goals related to patient care and safety.
Serve as a clinical leader and role model, demonstrating excellence in nursing practice, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and best practices in nursing care.
Provide support and assistance during emergencies and critical incidents, demonstrating effective leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and appropriate responses to patient needs.
