Description

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Critical Care Unit (CCU), including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and interventions as needed.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical orders.
Monitor patient condition closely, recognizing changes in status and initiating appropriate interventions promptly.
Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff within the CCU, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Nursing Assistants.
Supervise and coordinate nursing care delivery, ensuring adherence to established protocols, policies, and procedures.
Mentor and coach staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to promote professional growth and development.
Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills in critical care nursing, including proficiency in managing complex medical conditions, invasive procedures, and advanced life support techniques.
Stay current with evidence-based practices and guidelines in critical care nursing, incorporating best practices into patient care delivery.
Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs, preferences, and concerns are addressed throughout the healthcare journey.
