Description

Lead and manage the production team, including production supervisors, operators, technicians, and support staff, to ensure the efficient operation of manufacturing processes and the achievement of production targets.
Develop and implement production strategies, plans, and objectives aligned with organizational goals and objectives, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and production scheduling.
Drive operational excellence initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and quality control measures, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Promote a culture of safety in the workplace, implementing safety protocols, providing safety training, and minimizing workplace accidents and incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and R&D, to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and support new product introductions.
Monitor production performance metrics, analyse production data, and identify opportunities for improvement, making data-driven decisions to optimize operational efficiency and performance.
Manage production budgets, control production costs, and identify cost-saving initiatives to maximize profitability and operational effectiveness.
