Description

  • Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical inventory levels, including raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates, forecast demand, and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and adherence to inventory management policies.
  • Liaise with pharmaceutical suppliers and vendors to procure raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and finished products.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favourable agreements and optimize procurement costs.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, conduct vendor audits, and address any quality or compliance issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in pharmaceutical operations.
  • Stay updated with changes in pharmaceutical regulations, licensing requirements, and industry guidelines to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary approvals and documentation for product registration, import/export, and distribution.
