4. Manage post-operative care including ICU monitoring, wound care, and complication management.
5. Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists for multidisciplinary cancer care.
6. Handle oncological emergencies such as bowel obstruction, bleeding, or tumor-related complications.
7. Counsel patients and families regarding surgical options, risks, prognosis, and post-operative care.
8. Supervise, mentor, and train junior surgeons, residents, and surgical fellows.
