Job Description
- Diagnose and manage respiratory disorders including asthma, COPD, ILD, tuberculosis, and lung infections.
- Provide critical care support for patients with acute respiratory failure and ventilatory needs.
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and related procedures.
- Manage pulmonary emergencies such as severe asthma, hypoxia, and respiratory distress.
- Collaborate with critical care, cardiology, oncology, and infectious disease teams.
- Oversee sleep medicine services including evaluation of sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards.
- Mentor junior doctors, residents, and respiratory therapists.
