Job Description

1. Diagnose and manage complex neurosurgical conditions involving brain, spine, and peripheral nerves.
2. Perform advanced neurosurgical procedures including trauma, tumor, vascular, and spine surgeries.
3. Provide round-the-clock emergency neurosurgical care and critical decision-making support.
4. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary care with neurology, anesthesia, ICU, and rehabilitation teams.
5. Supervise junior neurosurgeons, residents, and operation theatre staff.
6. Interpret neuroimaging (CT, MRI, angiography) and plan appropriate surgical interventions.
7. Ensure adherence to NABH guidelines, patient safety standards, and ethical medical practices.
8. Counsel patients and families regarding surgical options, risks, outcomes, and post-operative care.
