Job Description
- Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation therapy for cancer treatment.
- Plan and prescribe radiotherapy using evidence-based treatment protocols.
- Review and interpret diagnostic imaging and pathology reports for treatment planning.
- Supervise radiation treatment delivery and monitor patient response.
- Manage acute and chronic radiation-related side effects and complications.
- Coordinate care with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and support teams.
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans, benefits, and risks.
- Maintain detailed treatment records and radiation documentation.
- Mentor junior doctors and radiation therapy staff (Senior Consultant role).
