Job Description
- Diagnose and manage hematological disorders including anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, and bleeding disorders.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient hematology consultations.
- Interpret blood reports, bone marrow findings, and other diagnostic tests.
- Manage chemotherapy, transfusion protocols, and supportive care as required.
- Coordinate care with oncology and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families about disease management and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital policies.
