Job Description
- Diagnose and manage patients with digestive system disorders, including liver, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract conditions.
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver function tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
- Manage gastrointestinal emergencies, including bleeding, obstruction, and acute liver failure.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies based on clinical response.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and dietitians for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and procedure documentation.
