Job Description
- Diagnose and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient endocrinology consultations.
- Interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and hormonal assays to guide diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, lifestyle modifications, and hormone therapies.
- Monitor and manage acute endocrine emergencies such as diabetic ketoacidosis or thyroid storm.
- Collaborate with other specialties like cardiology, nephrology, and gynecology for comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
