- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions
- Treat eye diseases such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and infections
- Perform ophthalmic surgeries (e.g., cataract, glaucoma, refractive procedures) as per specialization
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and vision therapy
