Job Description

1. Diagnose and manage patients with eye and vision disorders, including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, corneal disorders, and refractive errors.
2. Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries, including cataract surgery, LASIK, retinal procedures, and glaucoma interventions.
3. Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient care, and emergency eye care.
4. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive ocular patient management.
5. Maintain accurate patient records, surgical logs, and treatment documentation.
6. Stay updated on latest ophthalmology techniques, clinical guidelines, and research developments.
7. Mentor and train residents, fellows, and junior doctors in ophthalmology practice and surgeries.
8. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
