Job Description

1. Diagnose and manage patients requiring minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgical procedures across abdominal and gastrointestinal conditions.
2. Plan and perform laparoscopic surgeries, including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, bariatric procedures, and complex laparoscopic interventions.
3. Conduct pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery.
4. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, ICU teams, general surgeons, and other specialists for comprehensive surgical care.
5. Participate in outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and emergency laparoscopic procedures.
6. Maintain accurate surgical records, procedure logs, and patient follow-up documentation.
7. Stay updated on latest laparoscopic techniques, instruments, and clinical guidelines.
8. Mentor and guide residents, junior surgeons, and trainees in laparoscopic surgery.
