Job Description

1. Diagnose and manage patients with blood disorders, including anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, clotting disorders, and bone marrow failures.
2. Perform and interpret hematological investigations, including CBC, bone marrow biopsy, coagulation studies, and flow cytometry.
3. Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and emergency hematology care.
4. Develop and implement treatment plans, including transfusions, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
5. Collaborate with oncologists, transfusion medicine specialists, and critical care teams for comprehensive patient management.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, lab documentation, and treatment logs.
7. Stay updated on latest hematology treatments, clinical guidelines, and research developments.
8. Mentor and train residents, fellows, and junior doctors in hematology practice.
