Job Description

1. Diagnose and manage patients with general surgical conditions, including abdominal, soft tissue, hernia, thyroid, and emergency surgical cases.
2. Plan and perform elective and emergency surgical procedures, including minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgeries.
3. Conduct pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care, including ICU and ward rounds.
4. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, ICU staff, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
5. Participate in outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and emergency surgical care.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, surgical logs, and follow-up documentation.
7. Stay updated on latest surgical techniques, clinical guidelines, and research developments.
8. Mentor and train residents, interns, and junior doctors in general surgery.
