Description

Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations to identify cardiac issues.
Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Diagnose a variety of heart-related disorders, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
Management of Cardiac Conditions: Oversee the management of patients with chronic cardiovascular diseases, providing ongoing care, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations, to support accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about heart health, risk factors, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to promote cardiovascular wellness and adherence to treatment.
Research and Clinical Trials: Participate in clinical research and trials to advance the understanding of cardiovascular diseases, contributing to the development of new treatments and protocols.
Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, medical students, and residents, helping to enhance their knowledge and skills in cardiology and patient care.
