Job Description
- Diagnose and surgically manage complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and colorectal conditions.
- Perform advanced open, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive GI surgical procedures.
- Lead pre-operative evaluation, operative planning, and post-operative patient care.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care teams.
- Manage surgical emergencies related to the gastrointestinal tract.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior surgeons, residents, and OT staff.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental development.
