Job Description
- Provide expert care for critically ill patients in ICU.
- Supervise and guide ICU team including residents, nurses & support staff.
- Manage ventilators, inotropes, dialysis & advanced life support systems.
- Respond to medical emergencies & Code Blue situations.
- Conduct daily ICU rounds & treatment planning.
- Coordinate with consultants, surgeons & allied departments.
- Maintain accurate ICU documentation & patient records.
- Counsel patients’ families regarding prognosis & care plans.
- Ensure compliance with ICU protocols, infection control & hospital standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, teaching & research activities.
