Sr. Consultant/Consultant-Imaging & Interventional Radiology

Diagnostic Imaging:

• Oversee and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to assist in patient care.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings.

Interventional Procedures:

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, such as angiography, fluoroscopy, and image-guided biopsies.
• Administer contrast agents and other medications during interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for minimally invasive interventions.

Patient Consultation:

• Communicate with patients to explain imaging and interventional procedures, address concerns, and obtain relevant medical history.
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with quality control measures in radiological and interventional procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and reliability of imaging studies.
• Monitor and maintain the proficiency of radiology staff.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Consult with referring physicians on the selection and interpretation of imaging studies.
