Sr. Consultant/Consultant-GI Surgery

Patient Evaluation:

• Assess patients with gastrointestinal disorders, determining the need for surgical intervention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Surgical Expertise:

• Perform GI surgical procedures with precision, including surgeries for colorectal issues, abdominal cancers, and other gastrointestinal conditions.
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques to optimize patient outcomes.

Preoperative and Postoperative Care:

• Provide preoperative assessments and preparations for patients undergoing GI surgery.
• Oversee postoperative care, monitoring patients' recovery and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

• Work closely with gastroenterologists, oncologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in collaborative discussions for well-coordinated treatment strategies.

Patient Education:

• Educate patients and their families about the surgical procedures, potential risks, and postoperative care.
• Provide ongoing support for patients to navigate their digestive health journey.

Research Contribution:

• Contribute to research initiatives aimed at advancing treatment options and surgical techniques in GI surgery.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in GI surgery.
