Sr. Consultant/Consultant-General Surgery

Patient Consultations:

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients requiring surgical interventions.
• Assess medical history, perform examinations, and recommend appropriate surgical treatments.

Surgical Procedures:

• Perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including abdominal surgeries, hernia repairs, and appendectomies.
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques to ensure precision and patient safety.

Preoperative and Postoperative Care:

• Provide comprehensive preoperative assessments and preparations for surgical patients.
• Oversee postoperative care, monitoring patients' recovery and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Diagnostic Collaboration:

• Collaborate with diagnostic specialists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret diagnostic tests.
• Ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning through comprehensive evaluations.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

• Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to provide well-coordinated patient care.
• Participate in collaborative discussions to optimize surgical outcomes.

Patient Education:

• Educate patients about the surgical procedures, potential risks, and postoperative care.
• Provide ongoing support for patients to navigate their surgical health journey.

Emergency Surgical Response:

• Respond to emergency surgical cases and trauma situations as needed.
• Perform life-saving procedures during critical situations.
