3. Supervise mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and life-support systems.
4. Perform and oversee critical care procedures such as intubation and central line insertion.
5. Coordinate multidisciplinary care with specialists, nurses, and allied health staff.
6. Respond to medical emergencies, code situations, and rapid response calls.
7. Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding care plans and prognosis.
8. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with ICU protocols.
