Job Description

  1. Lead the evaluation and surgical management of patients with obesity and metabolic disorders.
  2. Perform advanced bariatric procedures, including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and revision surgeries.
  3. Conduct OPD consultations, pre-operative assessments, and inpatient rounds.
  4. Develop individualized surgical plans based on patient comorbidities and weight-loss goals.
  5. Oversee post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage complications.
  6. Coordinate with endocrinology, nutrition, anesthesia, and critical care teams for comprehensive patient care.
  7. Mentor and supervise associate consultants, residents, and OT staff in bariatric surgery techniques.
  8. Provide patient counseling on lifestyle modifications, diet, and long-term follow-up.
