Description
- Assist with the daily care of critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications as directed, and providing support with personal hygiene and mobility.
- Assist in the setup and management of critical care equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices.
- Observe and document patient conditions, noting any changes or abnormalities and reporting them to the nursing or medical staff.
- Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and explaining procedures as needed.
- Continuously monitor patients for signs of improvement or deterioration, including tracking vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.
- Operate and troubleshoot critical care equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Assist in the administration of intravenous (IV) fluids, medications, and other therapies as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients.
- Assist in the execution of medical procedures and interventions, including preparation and maintenance of sterile environments.
- Provide support during emergencies, including initiating life-saving procedures such as CPR and other critical interventions.
