Description

  • Provide advanced clinical care to patients in the specialty area, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex medical conditions under the supervision of attending physicians.
  • Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in clinical settings, including providing guidance on patient care, teaching clinical skills, and facilitating educational activities.
  • Participate actively in academic activities, including case discussions, journal clubs, grand rounds, and multidisciplinary conferences, to enhance medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice.
  • Conduct research projects, scholarly activities, and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with faculty members, residents, and research staff, including literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational curricula, teaching materials, and assessment tools for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals in the specialty area.
  • Participate in on-call duties, weekend coverage, and holiday rotations as required, providing continuity of patient care and supervision of clinical activities outside regular business hours.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including attending physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care delivery.
