Description

Patient Care: Manage inpatient and outpatient cases related to obstetrics and gynecology under the guidance of senior consultants.
Labor and Delivery: Oversee and conduct normal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring maternal and neonatal safety.
Surgical Procedures: Assist and perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and other minor procedures.
Emergency Management: Handle obstetric and gynecological emergencies, including ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and postpartum complications.
Monitoring: Conduct regular rounds for antenatal, postnatal, and gynecology patients, ensuring timely interventions.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Patient Education: Counsel patients on family planning, antenatal care, postpartum recovery, and gynecological health.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
Training and Teaching: Mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students, sharing expertise and supervising their clinical work.
Research and Development: Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and continuous medical education (CME) to stay updated with advancements in the field.
