Description

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of laboratory tests and imaging studies.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of kidney disorders, including CKD, AKI, glomerular diseases, electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and kidney stones.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, medical history, and preferences.
Prescribe medications, dialysis therapy, and other treatments to manage kidney disease and its complications effectively.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing follow-up care to optimize kidney function and improve overall health outcomes.
Supervise and coordinate dialysis treatments for patients with ESRD, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Evaluate vascular access sites, manage dialysis access complications, and collaborate with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists for access placement and maintenance.
Monitor dialysis adequacy, fluid balance, electrolyte levels, and other parameters to ensure safe and effective dialysis therapy.
